Who we are

What data we collect

When you apply for a cohort, we collect the information you enter in the application form: your name, email address, business or company name, your role, what you want to build, your company size, and, if you provide them, your LinkedIn profile and how you heard about us.

If we accept your application and you enrol, we collect the personal and payment data needed to take payment and deliver the programme. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we do not see or store your full card details.

If you request a free resource (such as The Lean Agent Team) or subscribe to updates, you join our email list. We confirm your email first (double opt-in), then send you the resource and occasional related emails. We hold your email address, and your name if you give it, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

How we use your data, and our lawful basis

To assess your application and deliver the programme: we use your application and enrolment data to review your suitability, take payment, and run the cohort. The lawful basis is performance of a contract, and our legitimate interest in assessing applicants before a contract is formed.

To communicate with you: we use your email address to send messages about your application, your place, and the running of the programme. The lawful basis is contract and our legitimate interest in keeping you informed.

For marketing: we only send marketing emails, such as a newsletter or news of future cohorts, to people who have explicitly opted in, for example by requesting a resource or subscribing to our list. Applying for a cohort does not opt you into marketing. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email, or by emailing us.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

Who processes your data for us

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the programme. Each processes your data only on our instructions: Stripe (payment processing), MailerLite (email and list management), Tally (application and signup forms), Netlify (website hosting), Fathom Analytics (privacy-focused, cookieless analytics), and Cal.com (booking calls for team enquiries).

Some of these providers process data outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses with the UK addendum.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email us at the address above. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, though we would ask you to contact us first so we can try to put things right.

Retention

We keep contact and transaction records for up to seven years to meet our accounting and tax obligations. Application data from applicants we do not enrol is kept for up to 12 months, then deleted. Other personal data is kept for up to 12 months after the end of your programme unless a longer period is required by law.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Fathom Analytics, a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics service, to measure aggregate traffic. Fathom does not set tracking cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not share data with advertising networks. We use no other third-party tracking scripts, so this site does not need a cookie banner.
